Cake

'Scoop' Chocolate Cake (Mrs. Grace Tubman)

A one-bowl chocolate cake made with Miracle Whip — moist, rich, and surprisingly tender.

  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 1 C. Miracle Whip
  • 1 C. Water
  • 2 C. Flour
  • 2 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 C. Cocoa
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt

Dump together, mix, bake 350 deg. for 30 to 35 minutes. Ice generously with boiled icing. A cup of dates added makes an entirely different cake.
