'Crazy' Chocolate Cake

A one-bowl chocolate cake mixed directly in the pan — no eggs, no butter, remarkably rich.

1 1/2 C. Flour
1 C. Sugar
3 Tbs. Cocoa
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
6 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
1 Tbs. White Vinegar
1 Tbs. Vanilla
1 C. Cold Water or Coffee
4 Milk Chocolate Bars or Confectioner's Sugar

Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt into ungreased, unfloured 9" x 13" pan. Make 3 holes in the dry ingredients and pour oil, vinegar, and vanilla each in different holes. Pour cold water over all and mix with a fork until just blended. Bake 375 deg. for 30-35 minutes. Place candy bars on hot cake and spread or dust with Confectioner's Sugar.
